Summer Challenge Series
3-Man Scramble | 8 Weeks of 9-Hole Simulator Golf
Grab your team and get ready for the Summer Challenge Series at Hideout.
This 6-week series brings a flexible, competitive 3-Man Scramble format to the simulators. Teams of three will play one 9-hole round each week, with a new course randomly selected at the start of every week and announced through Hideout’s social media accounts.
No season-long commitment is required. Players can join week-to-week, compete on multiple teams, and play when it works for their schedule during the assigned weekly window.
Each week, teams will compete for cash prizes, with the top 3 finishers taking home a share of the weekly prize pool.
Series Basics
📅 Dates: Week of July 5 through August 13
⛳ Format: 3-Man Scramble
🏌️ Rounds: 9 holes each week

⏱️ Round Time: Teams have 1.5 hours to complete their round
No season-long commitment is required. Teams may participate on a week-to-week basis.
Schedule
Week 1: July 5 – 9
Week 2: July 12 – 16
Week 3: July 19 – 23
Week 4: July 26 – 30
Week 5: August 2 – 6
Week 6: August 9 – 13
Teams must complete their round during the assigned week. Courses will be randomly assigned at the beginning of each week and announced through Hideout’s social media accounts.
Game Format
Each team will play a 9-hole round in a 3-Man Scramble format.
All three players tee off, then the team chooses the best shot and all players hit from that spot. This continues until the ball is holed. The team score is recorded for each hole.
Teams are responsible for keeping pace and tracking their scorecard throughout the round. All scorecards must be submitted by the weekly deadline.
Handicap Rules
All players must have a current, accredited golf handicap.
Team handicaps will be calculated using:
-Low Guy 20% of the handicap
-Mid Guy 15% of handicap
-High Guy 10% of handicap with a Max of 24
The resulting team handicap will be applied to each week’s 9-hole score.
Players without a verifiable handicap will play off 0.
Drive Requirements
To keep the format fair and make sure every teammate contributes, each team must follow the drive usage requirements below:
Minimum: 2 drives per player must be used during the round
Maximum: 4 drives per player may be used during the round
Teams are responsible for tracking drive usage throughout the round.
Entry Fee & Prize Pool
Entry is $90 per team.
From each team entry:
$45 goes to the house
$45 goes to the prize pool
The top 3 finishers win cash each week:
🥇 1st Place: 75% of the prize pool
🥈 2nd Place: 15% of the prize pool
🥉 3rd Place: 10% of the prize pool
The more teams that enter each week, the bigger the cash prizes.
Additional Notes
No season-long commitment is required. Players may participate on a week-to-week basis.
Players can play multiple rounds on multiple teams.
Teams have 1.5 hours to complete their round.
Teams must complete their round during the assigned week.
All scorecards must be submitted by the weekly deadline.
Any rules disputes will be decided by the league organizer.
Good sportsmanship and pace of play are always expected.
